Reshma Karkera – Co-Founder & Head Instructor With over 20 years of distinguished experience in teaching, choreographing, and performing, Reshma Karkera is the visionary behind Shivaay Dance Academy. She is trained in a broad spectrum of dance forms, including Folk, Kathak, Bharatnatyam, Western, and contemporary styles, and brings exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and passion to every class. Reshma’s career encompasses Bollywood and television, where she has performed alongside luminaries such as Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Katrina Kaif. She has choreographed for acclaimed TV shows like Nach Baliye 1 and Dance India Dance 1, feature films including DON, and prestigious award ceremonies such as the Filmfare Awards, IIFA, Zee Cine Awards, and Star Screen Awards. At Shivaay Dance Academy, Reshma is committed to nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and empowering students. With over 25 years of teaching and choreography experience, Rohan is a true dance master. He has trained with the best in various Indian dance forms like Bollywood, Bhangra, Folk, Kathak, Bharatnatyam as well as western and contemporary styles. But that's not all - Rohan has worked with some of Bollywood's biggest stars!
That's right, Rohan's talents have even graced the silver screen, where
he performed alongside the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Salmaan Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padokone, Katrina Kaif, and many more! He worked for choreographer Farah Khan for 8 years as a dancer and assistant choreographer and did many big films like Mina Hoon Na, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham mujhse shaadi karogi and many more
