Rohan Virdi – Co-Founder & Co-Director Over 25 years of passion, performance, choreography, and teaching - inspiring dancers through energy, creativity, and the joy of movement. Rohan Virdi is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Shivaay Dance Academy, bringing more than 25 years of experience in dance instruction, choreography, and performance. Trained in Bollywood, Bhangra, Folk, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Western, and Contemporary dance styles, Rohan brings a unique combination of technical training, performance experience, energy, and creativity to every class. Throughout his career, Rohan has had the opportunity to work and perform alongside some of Bollywood’s most celebrated artists, including Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif. One of the highlights of his professional journey was working with acclaimed choreographer Farah Khan for more than eight years as a dancer and assistant choreographer. During this time, he contributed to major film productions, television projects, and live performances. Rohan has also performed at prestigious events including the IIFA Awards, Zee Cine Awards, Filmfare Awards, and Star Screen Awards. But beyond the stage and the entertainment industry, Rohan’s greatest passion is teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers. Through Shivaay Dance Academy, he strives to create an environment where students can build confidence, develop discipline, express their creativity, and discover their own love for dance. His belief is simple: great dancing is not only about technique — it is about confidence, energy, expression, and having the courage to enjoy every moment on stage.
