Yes, we do have a registration fee starting September 1st, 2026 till June 2027.
Absolutely! We’d be delighted to offer you a trial class. We believe in providing everyone the opportunity to experience our services before committing. Please note that the first trial class is free of charge if you choose not to proceed. However, if you decide to continue, it will be a paid class.
Drop & Withdrawal Policy:
This policy applies to families enrolled in the Semester Payment Plan only.
- Students enrolled under the Full Season Payment Plan are committed to the entire dance season and are not eligible for mid-season withdrawals or refunds.
Withdrawal Deadlines:
1. To withdraw before Installment 2 (January – March): Withdrawal requests must be submitted by December 1, 2026.
2. To withdraw before Installment 3 (April – June): Withdrawal requests must be submitted by March 1, 2027.
How to Submit a Withdrawal Request:
All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via email to: Drop@shivaydanceacademy.com
Requests received after the applicable deadline will remain responsible for the upcoming Semester payment

Performance Opportunities for Students
Yes! Students at Shivaay Dance Academy have exciting opportunities to showcase their talent throughout the year with multiple performances and events.
Upcoming Grand Showcases (In-Person):
December 12th, 2026 — WinterFest Gala 2025 (NY, NJ, PA, CT)
June 5th, 2027 — Namaste Bollywood Season 5 (NY & CT)
June 12th, 2027 — Namaste Bollywood Season 5 (PA & NJ)
July 14th, 2027 — Summer Camp Showcase
In addition to these grand events, students may also have chances to perform at various community, cultural events, and competitions, depending on their location.

Dress Code for Classes
For your comfort and ease of movement during dance classes, we recommend wearing:
Sweatpants
Track pants
Leggings
Please avoid:
Jeans
Dresses
Any clothing that restricts movement
Comfortable attire helps you perform your best and enjoy every class!
Make-Up Class Policy
If a student misses a class, they may attend a similar class at another location with prior permission the Office team, please make sure to email us at Register@shivaaydanceacademy.com
Please note:
Make-up classes are not guaranteed.
There are no refunds or prorated tuition for missed classes.
Thank you for your understanding.
Instructor-Cancelled Classes & Make-Up Policy
If an instructor needs to cancel a class, don’t worry — we’ve got you covered with a scheduled make-up class.
To ensure you get plenty of practice, we also add extra hours during show preparations, which can serve as make-up or even pre-make-up classes!
These make-up sessions are offered both in person and via Zoom for your convenience.
Year-End Awards & Recognition
YES! Students who complete a full year of training will receive a Certificate and Trophy to celebrate their dedication and achievements.
Awards will be presented during the Namaste Bollywood event in June.
We’re proud to recognize every dancer’s hard work and progress!
Costume & Props Fees
For the Namaste Bollywood Shivaay Annual Recital, there is an additional costume fee of $15-$20 per participant.
For competitions or community shows, there may be additional fees for costumes and props, which can range up to $50.
We’ll always keep you informed about any fees ahead of time.

Summer Programs
We offer summer dance classes and events throughout July and August – stay tuned for details!
Annual Summer Break
All classes in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania will end on June 26th, 2027, and resume on September 8th, 2027.
💳 Payment & Attendance Policy
Please note the following important information as per our academy policy:
Shivaay Dance Academy does not offer credits or refunds for missed classes due to holidays, vacations, weather conditions, or relocation — unless related to an injury with appropriate documentation.
Holidays are included in your payment plan and are not deducted from tuition.
All payments are set up on auto-payment based on your selected payment plan.
Absolutely! Feel free to invite your nearest and dearest to any Event you’ve got coming up. Having loved ones around always makes things more enjoyable.
Ticket Information
Our shows are ticketed events, and tickets must be purchased in advance.
These events are open to everyone — we warmly encourage your friends, family, and colleagues to come and enjoy the performance!
Anyone with the ticket link can buy tickets online.
Important:
Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket and can sit on a parent’s lap for free.
Children over 2 years old require a half-price ticket, but no separate seat is provided.
If you want a seat for a child over 2 years old, you must purchase a full-price ticket to reserve that seat.

Yes! Our classes are offered for a full academic session from September 2026 until June 2027.
Mid-Semester Enrollment
Yes! You can definitely join our classes in the middle of the Semester. We’re always welcoming new students at all our locations
